About Us
TOBB ETU Model United Nations (ETUMUN) Community was established in the year 2004 and the Executive Board is entirely composed of students from TOBB Economics and Technology University. Our community operates on a completely voluntary basis, and our activities are carried out with a spirit of volunteerism.
History of Our Conferences
In its first year, our conference attracted 400 participants and has been consistently increasing this number each year. Since 2017, our community has become the focal point of interest for many students from different schools and countries through the conferences it organizes.
The conferences, organized with the Model United Nations (MUN) concept, are planned to continue this year with ETUMUN'24, marking the fourth edition.

Participation in our event is not limited to citizens of our country and has reached international conference status with attendees from various countries. In addition, the ETUMUN team also participates in many different Model United Nations (MUN) events within the borders of Turkey.
Our
Mission
Our mission is to openly discuss and address global issues among high school and university students in English while ensuring the development of necessary global citizenship awareness in the young individuals who will shape the future in their steps forward.

In line with these objectives, we aim to provide our participants with experiences closest to real life.

In this context, each year, the topics we address in our conferences are determined based on the agenda items created by the United Nations and NATO for that year.
